The Works

Clear form and structure are typical for my paintings. These I do not consider only as visual properties, but also as values. My Paintings are figurative but they consist abstract elements as well. My work is focused mostly on the human being. Being or organic soft form works as a counterpart for surroundings consisting horizontal- and vertical areas. I have chosen constructed environment for my figures, because significant amount of living takes place in cities these days.

     
I am interested in building several different layers. With black humour I want to bring more cynical and sinister quality into my paintings. First impression of the painting might seem as innocent and gentle, but the second look might reveal something darker than first was seen.
